Ministry Encouragement Podcast Episode #032

Rev. Jim W. Hollis – 2-6-13

Welcome to this the 32nd Episode of the Ministry Encouragement Podcast.  I’m Rev. Jim Hollis and I serve as the Executive Director of Proactive Ministries, who is the weekly sponsor of this podcast.  I so appreciate each of you allowing me to share in your life as you listen to and share this podcast on Christian Encouragement.

In this Episode I will be discussing:

5 Major Truths of Encouragement for Life

These 5 are based on the Bible and are relevant and contemporary for today and the lives that we are living right now.  They are:

1) God loved us first, while we were yet sinners – God still loves us and always will

2) There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus

3) There is complete forgiveness for every sin and grace for every need

4) We are invited to be filled with the Holy Spirit of God

5) We can choose to be personally and intimately guided by the Holy Spirit

These past days have been some in which have led me to increase my own prayer life.  I am revising my own prayer list and asking for prayers.  On my mind this day are the following people who are facing a hard walk through the valley of life:

  • Those who have experienced the loss of a family member through death
  • Those who are just tired from the energy required from extensive travel
  • Persons who are suffering this day from one or more broken relationships
  • Persons who know that tomorrow is coming and need spiritual courage to SEIZE the day and all the opportunities for JOY it holds

It’s my prayer that not only will you find the truths I have shared with you today encouraging but also nuggets that will give you new energy and hope.  I want to encourage you to share this podcast with someone you know and love.  You may also wish to share it with someone you are TRYING to love.

Until next time, I covet your prayers and would truly love to hear from you by phone:
