For this week I want to share with you, PART 2
The keys for today’s time together are as follows:
1) Start and stay with Divine Love – it is always the foundation of leading others to Christ
2) Consider with me the importance Jesus placed on making and living as Friends in that love (John 15:9-15)
3) In 38 years of ministry, I have come to refer to this approach as L.R.E. which stands for: Loving others, Relating to others, and Encouraging others
4) I can give you a formal definition of sharing with others in this way (Formal definition from PPT)
5) Then we really need to be personally CLEAR on the Gospel of Christ (PPT)
6) The Apostle’s Creed is a concise summary of the faith
Our actual strategic ministry plan for this ministry is:
PRAY & DISCERN
INITIATE
LISTEN
UNDERSTAND
REFLECT BACK WHAT IS SHARED
BUILD INTO THE FRIENDSHIP
SENSE THE BRIDGE (may be short or longer)
SHARE THE OLD, OLD STORY OF JESUS AND HIS LOVE
INVITE YOUR FRIEND TO RESPOND TO THE INVITATION
It’s my prayer that God will continue to send many people in a direct path or setting with you that you may do the steps to sharing Christ with them we discussed today. Our hearts and eyes will be open as we pray for discernment and open doors.
Please know that your sharing this Podcast with others in your circle of friends and acquaintances can touch many lives in ways that are beyond our imaginations. It takes very little to do and can be huge in influence.
Let me know how you are doing in your sharing faith with others. Consider the following questions personally in your own faith walk:
1) What is my greatest fear about sharing my faith?
2) Who is ONE person that I would love to lead closer to Christ?
3) What is the situation of me relating to this person?
4) Which one or more steps from this podcast seems most challenging for me?
